This Buyer Policy governs all purchases made through the Concrix platform. By placing a booking and making payment, you agree to the terms below. Concrix acts as an intermediary between the buyer and the seller to facilitate the sale of excess construction materials.
1. Booking and payment
All payments must be made directly to Concrix Malaysia Sdn Bhd as escrow agent — payments made directly to a seller are not recognised or protected by Concrix. A booking is only confirmed once full payment, including any platform fees, has been received. Prices are for materials "as-is, where-is" unless stated otherwise, and don't include specialised loading equipment (such as cranes) unless the listing says so.
2. Pre-loading inspection
You're required to physically inspect the materials at the seller's location before any loading takes place, and to verify the quantity, dimensions, quality and structural integrity against the listing description. Signing the Acknowledgment of Materials Condition form means you accept the items in their current state. Once materials are loaded onto the transport vehicle, the sale is final and non-refundable.
3. Rejection and refunds
If the materials don't match the listing description during inspection, you may reject them. Where a rejection is verified by Concrix, you'll receive a full refund within seven (7) business days. If only part of the materials is acceptable, you may negotiate a partial acceptance through Concrix, with a pro-rata refund for the rejected portion.
4. Logistics and transport
Logistics are handled by Lalamove or another third-party provider. Risk of loss or damage transfers to you once materials are successfully loaded onto the transport vehicle. Concrix is not liable for delays or damage in transit — claims about transport must go to the logistics provider directly.
5. Your responsibilities
- Arrive at the seller's site at the scheduled time for inspection, to avoid no-show penalties or cancellation of your booking.
- Follow the site's safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE when visiting a seller's construction site or warehouse.
6. Dispute resolution
If there's a dispute about material quality during the inspection, Concrix will act as mediator. Our decision, based on the listing description and the physical evidence, is final.
